The Side Dolphin Boat Trip from Side Town
You can see boats in Side's own harbour from half the town, so it is natural to assume you simply walk down to one. For this trip you don't — and that is good news.
Short answer
From Side town, you are picked up at your hotel and driven to the boat, at no extra cost. The Side dolphin boat begins its day on the Manavgat river rather than at the old harbour, which is why even guests a short stroll from the waterfront ride in the air-conditioned transfer. Your pickup time comes the day before; the boat itself leaves at 10:00.
Why you don't walk to the harbour
The old town and its harbour are on your doorstep, but this boat is not waiting there: the trip opens with a cruise down the calm Manavgat river towards the sea, so the boat's morning starts on the river, not in Side.
Rather than leaving you to find your own way there, the operator collects you. The round trip from your hotel is part of what the fare covers, and Side is the middle of the belt the transfer serves — Kumköy next along to the west, Sorgun next along to the east.
What a guest in Side actually does
- Open the booking form, choose Side as your area and pick your hotel from the list.
- Give a phone number we can reach on WhatsApp; that is where the pickup time arrives on the eve of the trip.
- On the morning, be at the meeting point at the time we sent — the exact spot is confirmed together with the time.
- Bring a swimsuit, a towel, sunglasses, high-factor sun cream and some euros in cash for the bar and the fare.

If your hotel isn't on the list
Not every place to stay in Side is in the form yet, especially the smaller ones. That does not stop you booking: type the name of your accommodation when you reserve, and the operator confirms the pickup with you before the day. If anything about the spot is unclear, write to us.
Your evening in Side
The boat is back at the harbour around 16:30–17:00, and the transfer then brings you home. That leaves the evening free for the old town on foot — or for a shower and an early night after three swims and a foam party.

Price for Side guests
Staying in the centre earns no discount and costs no surcharge: grown-ups from age 11 pay €21, a child aged 2 to 10 pays €15, and younger children come free. The money is handed over in euros on the trip day; nothing is charged online. Reserve from Side.
