How Booking the Side Dolphin Boat Works
A form with five screens, a reference number at the end, and one message from us the evening before. Here is each step, and what to have ready.
Short answer
To book the Side dolphin boat trip, pick a date, say how many guests of each age, choose your hotel, leave a phone number and confirm. No card is asked for and nothing is charged online. You see a booking reference straight away, the pickup time follows by phone or WhatsApp on the eve of the trip, and you settle the fare, in euros, on the trip itself.
The five steps
- Date. The calendar starts at tomorrow. Hoping to go today? Ask on WhatsApp and we find out.
- Guests. Adults aged 11 and over, children aged 2 to 10, and little ones under 2, who ride free. Up to 20 people in one booking.
- Hotel. Choose your area and then the hotel from the directory. Not listed? Type its name and the operator confirms the pickup.
- Your details. Your name, plus a phone you will actually answer while away. Add an e-mail address if you want the confirmation in writing too.
- Review and confirm. Nothing is sent until you have seen the summary: day, party, pickup hotel and the total, row by row.
What you get, and when
The moment you confirm, the screen shows your booking reference. Keep it: it is what we ask for if you write to us later. With an e-mail address on the booking, the same details arrive in your inbox.
On the evening before, a call or WhatsApp message from us gives your pickup time and where at your hotel to wait. That is the only message you need; the boat itself leaves at 10:00.
How the money works
Reserving is free. There is no deposit and no booking fee, and we never ask for a card number. The fare shown in the summary is settled in euros on the trip day. The prices page sets out what each age row costs and what the fare covers.
If plans change, you can call it off for free as long as 48 hours remain before departure. A line on WhatsApp, or answering the confirmation, settles it.
Bigger groups and special requests
A party larger than 20 is a request rather than a form booking: write to us with the date and the number of guests. The same goes for anyone using a wheelchair or with limited mobility — access depends on the boat and the day, so ask before booking and we check it with the operator. The groups guide explains how a large party is collected.
